This is also where you display your picture frames, personal items and even those random accessories you have nowhere to display. Don't forget this is a place to express yourself and your design style. You can keep it formal or make it look messy. I love adding wall covering to the back of the bookshelf to give it depth, and lastly its okay to put things facing out this draws your attention to the bookshelves and has you wanting to look at all the goodies.
